Biography

Tom E. Patton teaches supply chain management at the University of Kansas School of Business. He earned a bachelor's degree in business and mathematics from St. Cloud State University and a Master of Engineering in industrial engineering from Iowa State University.

He has more than 28 years of industry experience in various engineering, sales and supply chain management roles, predominantly in telecommunications. Patton is recognized as a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) by the Institute of Supply Management.
