Biography

Josh Wexler has a wealth of experiences that include conceptualizing, launching and scaling consumer and enterprise digital products; building and leading engineering, design, and product teams; teaching at the undergraduate and master level; and building and then selling his own company as an entrepreneur. He is the head of insights and strategy at Tetra Insights and an innovator-in-residence at the KU School of Business.

Previously, Wexler served as chief product officer and board member at Tetra Insights. Tetra is an enterprise SaaS company that provides a qualitative research platform enabling user researchers to analyze any qualitative data and synthesize insights. Before Tetra, Wexler worked with Deepak Chopra at Chopra Global as chief product officer. There, he built and launched The Chopra Meditation App that has been downloaded millions of times. The app is unique in that it helps users build a customized wellness plan based on ancient wisdom traditions, specifically Ayurveda. Prior to that, he led a team that conceptualized and built the SoulCycle At-Home Bike. He also ran product and design at Splice, a music software company, and helped scale the product offering by launching the Splice desktop product.

In addition to his product experience, he has taught at both the undergraduate and master's levels. He taught product management at New York University for two years in a master's program and was a guest lecturer at Harvard University in two courses for five years, teaching product and prototyping. At Harvard, he had the opportunity to work closely with the Harvard Innovation Lab (watch his talk from the iLAB). Outside of NYU and Harvard, he has taught product management classes at General Assembly as part of a continuing education program for people looking to make a career change and move into product and technology.
