AACSB Accreditation

The KU School of Business is proud of our continued accreditation by AACSB, the International Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. We are one of only 173 business schools in the world to receive AACSB accreditation for both our School of Business and our Accounting program.

Our 2008 re-accreditation report praised the KU School of Business for its "exceptionally effective practices that demonstrate leadership and high quality continuous improvement in management education."

Other findings from the AACSB include:

  • The KU School of Business provides a wealth of unique experiences to its students, many of which were made possible by course fees.
  • Students commend the extracurricular opportunities for professional and personal development, including Jayhawks on Wall Street, live case competitions, consulting courses, and "Scholars" programs.
  • The KU School of Business does an outstanding job in promoting international opportunities and providing financial support for faculty and staff.
  • The School has hired a significant number of new faculty from top doctoral programs and institutions across the country. Students report high satisfaction with the attention and accessibility of KU faculty, advisors, career services professionals and the Dean's Office.
