Background Tammy has worked for the University of Kansas since 1985. She began as an Administrative Assistant/Technical Typist in the Mechanical Enginerring Department. In 1993, Tammy moved to the Kansas Geological Survey where she became a Geoarchivist in the Geoscience Data Library and then became the Manager of the Publications and Sales Department. Tammy joined the School of Business, Student & Academic Services Team in October of 2006.
Interest and Hobbies She enjoys about any type of crafts, genealogy, and working on/with computers and websites. Her website is http://www.sunflower.com/~tbarta
Current Activities Tammy is currently a Committee member of Boy Scout Troop 52 (where her son is an Eagle Scout), Commitee Member for Venturing Crew 2052, and the Troop Leader for Girl Scout Troops 558 & 733 (which her daughter is active in). Tammy also serves as a member of the Citizen Review Board for Douglas County and reviews Child in Need of Care cases.
