Background Frank Marshall joined the School of Business in the newly created position of Assistant Dean for Development Support in September 2007. As Assistant Dean, Frank provides advice and assistance in decision-making and development activities, and performs various analytical and technical duties in support of the dean’s office and on behalf of the Dean. He is responsible for communications and special events for the School and leads the communications staff. Frank comes to us from Kansas City’s public television station, where he served for seven years as Vice President for Finance and Operations. Prior to that, he worked at the headquarters of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. At the NCAA, Frank was involved in many of the organization’s business activities and served as chief financial officer for five years. Before joining the NCAA, Frank had substantial experience in higher education, working for eleven years at his alma mater, Missouri State University, in the university’s financial services department.
