Center for Banking Excellence

The KU Center for Banking Excellence sponsors and participates in events designed to:

  • Produce and disseminate new learning about performance, practice and regulation in the banking industry.
  • Bring bankers together with KU School of Business graduates seeking careers in the industry.
  • Bring bankers into the classroom to educate current KU School of Business students.

The Center's inaugural event was in June 2009 and was co-sponsored with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City: A conference on Real Estate Finance, attended by 125 bankers and other financial professionals.
