Sheila Bair, Chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and KU alumnus, was the guest speaker at the 2007 Anderson Chandler Lecture Series on September 17th. Bair addressed timely financial topics including sub-prime mortgages, pay-day loans and the financial literacy of saving, spending and not wasting money. The lecture capped off a full day of events including a banker’s round-table and a question and answer session with MBA students.
