Areas of Interest

Matt's areas of interest include automated auditing and the role IT can play in both the external and internal audit worlds, the impact of a firm's corporate governance on their audit quality, and the connections between financial accounting and a firm's business decisions.

Bio

Matt joined the KU Accounting PhD program as an ADS scholar in the fall of 2011, after spend 10 years working for a Big 4 accounting firm.

In his free time Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, taking road trips and watching baseball.
