Business Career Fair
The University of Kansas School of Business will co-sponsor a career fair for students of all majors on Thursday, April 28 from 1:30-4:30 in the Union Ballroom. The Just In Time Career Fair is supported by the Business Career Services Center (BCSC) in order to give students looking for jobs and summer internships one last opportunity to meet with possible employers.
All participating companies currently have open positions posted on the KU Career Connections website, which can be accessed via the BCSC website. These positions are either full-time employment or internships. Waddell & Reed, Mutual of Omaha, Zurich North America Insurance, along with many others, will attend the career fair.
This particular career fair is meant to counteract the difficulty students have finding a job after college.
“These employers will also benefit from this career fair because they are being able to market last minute opportunities or unfilled positions,” said Cheryl Norwood, Recruiting and Alumni Networks coordinator in the BCSC.
For students looking to apply, the BCSC offers assistance by reviewing resumes, practice interviews and helping prepare for any obstacle they may face when applying for jobs.
