And the “Annual Report of KU Finance 2010: Building a Financial Community” received the gold award in the magazine/educational institution category.

The winners cover a range from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies. The competitions are judged by industry professionals who look for marketing and communication work that “exceeds a high standard of excellence and serves as a benchmark for the industry.”

More than 5,000 entries throughout the United States and several foreign countries were judged in the 2010 competition. The KU School of Business communications team, led by Toni Dixon, director of communications, produces the School’s publications.
