School of Business mourns passing of former faculty member

Former faculty member J. Hammond McNish, 93, died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at his home in Lawrence.

He served as a faculty member at the KU School of Business from 1946 to 1948 and again from 1970 to 1982. While on the KU faculty, he was an adjunct professor of business law.

He helped establish the Marjorie McNish fund for Business Ethics, in honor of his wife. The fund helps support the R.E.S.P.E.C.T Awards each year at the School of Business.
