Let's start with the number 28. U.S. News and World Report recently ranked the KU School of Business 28th in the Nation among public schools. That means we moved up 12 places and into the top 30. Now those are some exciting numbers! This reflects the momentum the School has been generating and the steady progress we've been making.
301 - That's a big number. Our MBA program is included in Princeton Review's, "The Best 301 Business Schools." In this 2010 ranking, based on student surveys, students described us as "the best business school in the Midwest," and they raved about our faculty, alumni, the international program and the help they receive from the Business Career Services Center as they get ready to launch their new careers. 8 - That is the number of Undergraduate majors we will soon be offering. As part of our on-going advancement, in 2010 we will launch a new degree available exclusively at the Edwards Campus in the Kansas City area. The new Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree is tailored for working adults, with late afternoon and early evening classes. We designed it to boost the career prospects of working adults in Johnson County. To learn more about it, click here.
26 - up from 11 - Those are enrollment numbers in our newest Masters program in Supply Chain Management at Ft. Leavenworth. The first year saw 11 graduates. For the second year, we have more than doubled the enrollment with 26 Army students (25 Army Majors and a member of the Wounded Warrior Initiative.) We are very excited about the quick success of this program, offered through the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and it is growing fast. To read more, click here.

The tough economic times account for some of the increase in applications, but we are sure our experiential learning and international opportunities also play a big role in setting us apart from the rest. 158 - This is another number showing growth. In this case, it is the number of graduate students enrolled in our Master of Accounting (MAcc) program. There were 42 students enrolled in 2001. This program continues to expand with steady growth over the years. To learn more about the MAcc program, click here.
1,034 - Now this is an exciting number because it represents our largest Undergraduate enrollment in many years. The most popular major is Accounting with 319 students, followed by Finance with 314.
740 - That number means that enrollment remains high in our Business Minor program with 740 non-Business majors enrolled. This is a very popular program for students who are pursuing other degrees, but who know that bu...
