If your students aren't sure about what major/career in business they would like to pursue, BUS 101: Business Majors, Careers, and Professional Skills may be the course the course for them! BUS 101 provides an overview of professional opportunities and business skills they can use to start their career. They will receive hands-on training in professional development areas including resumes, internships, ethics, and social responsibility. This course also includes guest lecturers from industry professionals. BUS 101 will be offered in the Spring 2010 semester.

There are 1,039 undergraduate Business students enrolled in the KU School of Business. All business students will have advising holds placed on their enrollment in late October and will be sent an email reminder to remove this hold by meeting with one of our academic advisors. If your student plans on graduating in Spring 2010 or Summer 2010, they are encouraged to set up an academic advising appointment early to complete their graduation check. Please have your student call 785-864-7500 to set up an academic advising/graduation check appointment for Spring/Summer 2010.

The International Business concentration has changed for Business students who were admitted for Fall 2009 or later. We now require students to finish the fourth level of foreign language in addition to completing four international business courses.

Best of luck to your students as they embark on the Fall 2009 semester! We are here to help if you or your student has any questions.
