Two Business alumni named to Ingram's top "20 in their twenties"

Ramsey Mohsen and Aaron Mesmer, KU School of Business alumni, are featured in the August issue of the Kansas City Business Magazine, Ingram's.
The article, "20 in their Twenties," honors 20 young people who have found business success in Kansas City. Mesmer,26, is a principal in acquisitions and investments sales for Block & Company Inc. Realtors. Over the past three years, Mesmer has been involved in 70 investment real estate transactions valued at more that $231 million.
Mesmer graduated from KU at the top of his class and with High Distinction, earning a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
"He was always a motivated and engaging student, a pleasure to have in class," said Cathy Shenoy, a School of Business assistant professor whosupported Mesmer's nomination for the award.
Mohsen, 25, is a consultant for Digital Evolution Group. He has designed Web sites for the KU School of Business, Crown Center and Kansas City International Airport.
Mohsen said he was referred to his job by Lisa Ottinger, business professor, for whom he served as a teaching assistant.
"I truly believe the business school at KU presented me with not only the education I needed, but more importantly, the personal experiences that prepped me to jump into the real world with a running start," Mohsen said.
Mohsen also has a blog that has 50,000 viewers each month, is an event broadcaster and coordinator and a life-caster, broadcasting his life on the Internet.
Mohsen is originally from Springfield, Mo. At Kansas, he received a degree in Business Administration in 2005. He was also vice president of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, a Rock Chalk Revue Director and member of Men's Glee Club Choir.
"I want to be the difference in the world," Mohsen said. "While this recognition is nice, I know the best has yet to come."
