School of Business alumni in the Kansas City area had a chance to reconnect with former classmates and network with other School of Business graduates at the KC Alumni Event, hosted by the KU School of Business on September 4. Over 150 KU School of Business graduates, faculty and staff attended the event, held at The Culinary Center of Kansas City.

School of Business Dean Bill Fuerst delivered a short, informative update about the School's recent accomplishments, including plans for a new building and the School's presence on YouTube and the social networking group LinkedIn. There was a drawing for Business School items and KU apparel, and, best of all, two court-level tickets to a KU men's basketball game.
