Faculty named to editorial board of management journal

Three faculty members from the KU School of Business have been named to the Editorial Board of Strategic Management Journal, the top academic journal for publishing business strategy research. Professors Laura Poppo, Vince Barker and Tailan Chi represent the KU School of Business on the board.

Only seven other universities in the world have more faculty representation on this editorial board than KU, and we are the only Big 12 University to have three or more editorial board members.

Other schools with three board members include: Emory University, Michigan State University, Ohio State University, University of Minnesota, University of North Carolina, University of Pennsylvania and Washington University in St. Louis.

Strategic Management Journal publishes original refereed material concerned with all aspects of strategic management. It is devoted to the improvement and further development of the theory and practice of strategic management and it is designed to appeal to both business managers and academics. The journal is currently published 12 times per year.
