Graduate Business Council reaches out to community on Day of Action

Members of the Graduate Business Council participated this weekend in the Roger Hill Volunteer Center Day of Action. On Friday, September 11, approximately fifteen graduate Business students worked at Habitat Restore, organizing supplies and building a new shelf for siding and construction materials. On Saturday, September 12, fifteen additional master’s students volunteered at Brandon Woods Life Care Services Community, playing games such as bingo, scrabble and dominoes with residents.

The mission of the Graduate Business Council is to promote learning and professional development; serve as liaisons between graduate business students and the School of Business faculty, staff, administration, alumni, and external community; and to provide opportunities for social interaction, fostering a sense of community, within the graduate student body and with the local community.
