Full Time MBA
Students in the KU MBA program receive a well-rounded education that incorporates both the theoretical background and practical experience needed to succeed in today's ever-changing global economy. New students are admitted during the fall semester and complete the program in two years.
Opportunities are available for students to gain real-world, applicable experience through case competitions, study abroad and internships. Internships are highly recommended during the summer so students can gain experience and a chance to apply what they have learned. MBA students will work with Business Career Services to find an internship that fits their career goals.
The program includes 28-credits of core curriculum and 24-credits of elective coursework. During the first year students will take their core courses in Lawrence and the second year is a little more flexible with electives offered in Lawrence and the Edwards campus in Overland Park, KS.
Beyond earning your MBA from KU, our graduates will benefit from an expansive network of MBA alumni and becoming part of the Jayhawk family. Throughout the year the KU MBA Alumni Network hosts events for current students to network with alumni.
