Knowledge of how business is done beyond the borders of the United
States is more important than ever for today's business professionals.
Established in 1999, the KU CIBER serves as a catalyst for curricular, research and outreach programs
centered at The University of Kansas School of Business in partnership
with the University's area study centers, foreign language departments,
and other campus units.

Mission
KU CIBER has in integral role in fostering an appreciation for
international business and developing the skill sets necessary for our students to succeed in a global business environment. The center also works to meet the University's goal that every student have a

CIBERs Nationwide
KU CIBER is part of a nationwide network of 31 similar centers
at business schools across the country. Across the U.S., CIBERs provide
services and programs to help American business excel in the global
marketplace. CIBERs are funded by the U.S. Department of Education,
with additional support provided by each host institution.
