Academic Areas Human Resources Organizational Behavior
Interests Feirong’s research interests are mainly in the areas of creativity and innovation, organizational change, and cross-cultural studies. Her work appears at Creativity Research Journal, Research in Organizational Change and Development, and Handbook of Organization Development. Feirong is an active member of the Academy of Management, American Psychological Association, Academy of International Business, and International Association for Chinese Management Research; and she currently serves on the editorial review board of the Journal of Applied Behavioral Science. Feirong’s current project topics include employee innovation and creativity in both U.S. and China work settings, employees’ creative attempt to “work the system” in organizations, and the success and likelihood of radical organizational change.
