Academic Areas Human Resources Organizational Behavior

Interests In the past, I have taught organizational behavior (both at the introduction and advanced levels that focus on leadership and team management), human resource management (selection and training), and organizational theory. At KU, I currently teach organizational behavior at the undergraduate level and a Ph.D. seminar in organizational theory.
The following broadly summarizes my current research interests:- Employee cooperation that reflects their tendencies to fully utilize firm-specific skills and knowledge as well as HRM practices to promote those tendencies,
- Employee voluntary behaviors that go beyond in-role performance criteria (e.g. organizational citizenship behavior, voice, and whistle-blowing)
- Research methodology and design issues including statistical analysis.
