How to Apply

Undergraduate students are first admitted to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) as pre-business students. Once they complete the School’s admission requirements, they must submit an application to the School before the deadline. Entry is highly competitive, and students are ranked according to their GPA and ACT/SAT score. Most students are admitted in their junior year.

The application period to apply for the Spring 2009 semester is August 15 through September 15.  To apply for admission AND scholarships, please fill out the Admission Application.

(Please note that while we collect scholarship information during both application periods, scholarships are only awarded during the Spring semester.)

2008 APPLICATION DEADLINES:
Fall or Summer Admission, February 15
Spring Admission, September 15

Transfer students

Students transferring to KU follow the same application procedures as current KU students. The requirements remain the same, as well. However, transfer students must send a transcript to the Office of Admissions and Scholarships for evaluation and must complete at least 50% of their professional coursework at KU (26 hours of business and economics courses). All transfer students should meet with a business advisor.

International students

Admission and financial aid information for international students can be found at the Office of International Student & Scholar Services. International students must apply to the University before being admitted to the School of Business.
