A Finance Scholar

• Shows a keen interest in pursuing a career in a competitive financial position
  
• Has superior academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 3.4
• Demonstrates exceptional initiative and leadership ability

Program Overview for 2009-10

• An initial $1,000 scholarship for the Fall 2009 semester.
• Enroll in FIN 302 during the Fall 2009 semester and FIN 303, Spring 2010
• Prepare to find a Finance Internship for Summer 2010
• On-site visits to premier financial institutions in such locations as Kansas City, Dallas, Chicago, or New York during Fall 2009 and Spring 2010
• Final $1,000 scholarship Spring 2010 (subject to continued association with the Finance Scholars Program)
• Main job interviewing season – Fall 2010/Spring 2
  

Apply to be a 2009-10 Finance Scholar. Application Deadline: March 31, 2009

Application Process Timeline

For December 2010 Graduates or later (typically a sophomore or junior during Fall 2009).

Application deadline: March 31, 2009
Interviews for selected applicants: early April 2009
Finance Scholars will be selected by late April
FIN 302 will be offered in Fall 2009

The next application opportunity will be April 2010 for anticipated December 2011 graduates or later.

Applicants shouild have a graduation date no earlier than December 2009 (typically a junior or sophomore for Fall 2008)
