Cost of Attendance

While the tuition, fees and expenses associated with the KU MBA program may vary, the KU MBA is one of the more affordable AACSB accredited programs in the country.

The typical Full-Time MBA student will take 34 credit-hours during their first year and 18 credit-hours during their second year. A cost per credit hour breakdown can be found here.

The Full-Time MBA program is based in Lawrence, Kansas. Living costs in Lawrence can vary, but are typically less than that of a medium-sized city, such as Kansas City, Missouri. The figures below are estimates tailored to the standard of living regularly sought by MBA students. Individual lifestyle and family status will affect actual costs.

Financial Aid:
Earning an MBA is an investment. While the Full-Time MBA program is competitively priced, The University of Kansas offers a complete portfolio of financial assistance options. Specifically, the MBA program provides various forms of assistance in addition to the options available at the university level. During a given year, students can be awarded scholarships, receive assistance for participating in an experiential learning opportunity or by serving as a graduate assistant.
