The School of Business offers many international business study options including courses focusing on international aspects of business disciplines and business practices in different geographic areas of the world.
Scholarships
KU CIBER has funding available to support participation in KU Study Abroad programs undertaken by undergraduate and graduate students. Applications are reviewed twice each year, on April 1 and October 15.

Accommodating the tight schedules of graduate students, the KU CIBER has developed short-term study abroad opportunities. Site visits, cultural outings, and talks with executives provide realistic information about life and business abroad. These courses were developed through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

KU CIBER International Case Competition
KU CIBER hosted its first case competition for MBA students on March 2-3, 2007. The competition featured a live case presented by managers from Cessna Aircraft Company. Teams of students were challenged to develop a general aviation market in China and to recommend strategies for Cessna to take advantage of that market. Within twenty-four hours, teams presented their recommendations to a four member panel of judges, two of whom were managers at Cessna.
Teams from Ohio State University, University of Connecticut, University of Washington, University of Wisconsin - Madison and The University of Kansas participated in the competition. The University of Washington was named the overall winner.
As the 2007-2008 Big XII case competition will be held this April in Kansas City, the next The University of Kansas CIBER International Case Competition will be in spring of 2009.
