Applying for APM FIN 730/FIN 450

Enrollment to the Applied Portfolio Management (APM) Class is by application only. Prerequisites are FIN 705/706 or FIN 410 or equivalent.

Students who wish to enroll in the APM class, should turn in the following:

• a letter of application (similar to a cover letter),
• answers to the questions on the application form,
• an ARTS form, and
• a current resume.

Turn in all of your application materials to the APM Assistant in 226O SU. If you are studying abroad, you may turn your application in by e-mail to apm@ku.edu.

A committee will review all applications. Interviews may be scheduled after a review of the applications. Students will be notified if an interview is required.
Enrollment is limited. You are encouraged to apply early.

Preference will be given to those who apply before March 20. Professor Shenoy will notify students by e-mail of the committee’s decision. Those who apply before March 20 and are accepted will receive enrollment instructions in their acceptance e-mail and may enroll at their usual time. Please note that March 20 is during spring break. You should submit your application before spring break if you are going to be out of town during that time.

We will review applications and schedule subsequent interviews after enrollment begins on an as needed basis.
