Applying for APM FIN 730/FIN 450

Enrollment to the Applied Portfolio Management (APM) Class is by application only. Prerequisites are FIN 705 or FIN 410 or equivalent. The class will meet Monday from 4 - 7:30 pm in the Spring 2010 semester.

Students who wish to enroll in the APM class, should turn in the following:

• a letter of application addressed to Prof. Shenoy stating why you want to be in the class,
• answers to the questions on the application form,
• your most current ARTS form, and
• a current resume

Submit your application materials to Erin Halfen in 345 SU. If you are studying abroad, you may turn in your application by e-mail to ehalfen@ku.edu.

A committee will review all applications. Interviews may be scheduled after a review of the applications. Students will be notified if an interview is required. Enrollment is limited. You are encouraged to apply early.

Priority Enrollment. We will accept applications until the class is full. Professor Shenoy will notify students by e-mail of the committee’s decision. Those who are accepted before Fall Break will receive enrollment instructions in their acceptance e-mail and can enroll at their usual time. 

Non-priority Enrollment. Applications received after Fall Break will be reviewed and interviews scheduled on an as-needed basis.
