Doctoral
The KU School of Business Ph.D. program is small, and therefore highly selective. Six or seven new students a year are admitted to assure close work with faculty. The doctoral program is rigorous and challenging, but provides a collegial, supportive, and intellectually stimulating atmosphere.
Our Ph.D. program fosters the capacity for effective teaching and original research through mastery of a chosen field of study, a thorough understanding of research methodology, the ability to communicate effectively, and the motivation for continuing self-education.
