Leadership Challenge

Employer Information

The annual KU Leadership Challenge is open to students from both the Business & Engineering disciplines at the University of Kansas. This two-day event will take place on January 13-14, 2009.

The vision for the seminar is to develop leadership potential in sophomore and junior level students in the Schools of Business and Engineering. The program consists of bringing in speakers to assist students in understanding important leadership skills and tools, as well as include industry personnel to network and participate with the students.

There are tremendous opportunities for those corporate members who participate. Some of those opportunities include:

  • Networking with top students from both the Business & Engineering schools
  • Getting your company’s name and logo out in front of students (even those not attending the conference through advertising for the conference)
  • Personal development opportunity to enahance your own leadership skills by attending the seminar
  • Helping the students that you might potentially hire obtain the skills they need prior to coming to work at your company
