- David Murdock, B.S. in Finance and Senior VP of Northern Trust, named one of Worth magazine's Top 250 Wealth Advisors for 2008.
- Richard Baumeister, B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting. His firm, Sanford, Baumeister & Frazier, recently made the 2009 list "Best Companies to Work for in Texas."
- Ramsey Mohsen and Aaron Mesmer named to Ingram's Top 20 in their twenties list.
- Dr. Karyl Leggio, Ph.D. in Business administration with a concentration in Finance, named Dean of Sellinger School of Business and Management.
- John Wilgers, B.S. in Accounting, promoted to managing partner of Ernst & Young’s Twin Cities practice in Minneapolis/St. Paul.
- Joseph Smith III, B.S. in Business Administration, named one of Ingram Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40” for 2008.
- Kent C. McCarthy, B.S. and M.A. in Finance, co-authored new book on Applied Portfolio Management.
- Martina Musteen, Ph.D. in Strategic Management, received the 2008 Olympus Emerging Educational leader award.
